Moosalp is a mountain pass that is well worth a visit! From Stalden, the road takes you back and forth in twisting turns until you reach the village of Törbel halfway up the pass. Take your time to enjoy the view over the plain and the typical wooden houses with flowered balconies and slate roofs. Gradually the larch trees become denser, and you will gain height until you reach the highest point at 2045 meters. A well-deserved break awaits you in this breathtaking alpine setting.
For the sportier, it is possible to reach the start of Stalden by bike from the plain and the town of Visp: about 10km and 130m of ascent.
